Indicated for the control of gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, cattle grubs, lice, mites, and horn flies, Vetrimec Pour-On supports cattle health and productivity while simplifying your deworming and pest control routine.
Application: Apply the recommended dosage along the topline in a narrow strip extending from the withers to the tailhead. Do not use in female dairy cattle of breeding age or in calves to be processed for veal.
Meat Withdrawal: 48 days.
When used at the recommended dose of 500 mcg/kg body weight, Vetrimec Pour-On is indicated for the treatment and control of the following parasites in cattle:
Type | Ingredient | Description |
---|---|---|
Active | Ivermectin 5 mg/mL (0.5%) | Broad-spectrum antiparasitic effective against internal and external parasites in cattle, including roundworms, grubs, mites, lice, and horn flies. |
Inactive | Isopropyl alcohol | Solvent and skin penetrant that aids in rapid absorption through the skin. |
Glycerol formal | Stabilizer and carrier solvent that helps maintain the formulation's integrity. | |
Other proprietary excipients | Additional formulation agents to aid in application, spreadability, and stability. |
Recommended Dose: Apply 1 mL per 22 lb (10 kg) of body weight. Dispense along the topline in a narrow strip extending from the withers to the tailhead. Proper dosing is essential for optimal parasite control and treatment efficacy.
