Description

Vetoryl for dogs is a trusted solution for managing the challenging symptoms of Cushing's syndrome in beloved pets. With its potent adrenocortical suppressant, Vetoryl offers a beacon of hope for pet owners seeking to alleviate the burdens of this condition.

Cushing's syndrome, also known as hyperadrenocorticism, can cause a range of distressing symptoms in dogs, including increased thirst, appetite, and urination, along with hair loss and muscle weakness. Vetoryl intervenes by suppressing the overactivity of the adrenal glands, effectively reducing the production of excess cortisol and restoring hormonal balance.

The active ingredient in Vetoryl, Trilostane, serves as a powerful adrenocortical suppressant. By inhibiting the enzymes responsible for cortisol synthesis within the adrenal glands, Vetoryl helps to normalize cortisol levels in the bloodstream, thereby alleviating the symptoms of Cushing's syndrome and improving the overall well-being of affected dogs.

Vetoryl is available in convenient capsule form, making administration easy and stress-free for pet owners. With various dosage strengths to accommodate different dog sizes and treatment needs, Vetoryl offers flexibility and personalized care tailored to each individual pet.

Key Benefits:

  • Effective Symptom Management: Vetoryl provides effective relief from the distressing symptoms of Cushing's syndrome in dogs, including excessive thirst, appetite, and urination, as well as hair loss and muscle weakness.
  • Restored Hormonal Balance: By suppressing adrenal gland activity, Vetoryl helps restore hormonal balance by reducing the overproduction of cortisol, promoting a sense of equilibrium and well-being in affected pets.
  • Improved Quality of Life: With Vetoryl, dogs experiencing Cushing's syndrome can enjoy an improved quality of life, free from the discomfort and limitations imposed by the condition, allowing them to engage in daily activities with greater ease and comfort.
  • Tailored Treatment Options: Vetoryl offers various dosage strengths to accommodate different dog sizes and treatment needs, allowing for personalized care and optimal management of the condition based on individual requirements.
  • Trusted Veterinary Support: Backed by veterinary expertise and clinical research, Vetoryl is a trusted choice for pet owners seeking reliable and effective treatment for Cushing's syndrome in their furry companions.

Indications:

  • Cushing's Syndrome Management: Vetoryl is indicated for the treatment of Cushing's syndrome, also known as hyperadrenocorticism, in dogs. It effectively addresses the underlying cause of the condition by suppressing adrenal gland activity and reducing the overproduction of cortisol.
  • Symptom Relief: Vetoryl helps alleviate the symptoms associated with Cushing's syndrome in dogs, including increased thirst, appetite, and urination, as well as hair loss and muscle weakness. It aids in restoring hormonal balance and improving the overall well-being of affected pets.
  • Long-Term Management: Vetoryl is suitable for long-term management of Cushing's syndrome in dogs, providing ongoing relief from symptoms and supporting a better quality of life for pets living with this chronic condition.
  • Veterinary Supervision: Vetoryl should be administered under the guidance and supervision of a veterinarian, who can determine the appropriate dosage based on the dog's individual needs and monitor their response to treatment to ensure optimal efficacy and safety.

How it works:

Vetoryl works by targeting the underlying cause of Cushing's syndrome in dogs, which is the excessive production of cortisol by the adrenal glands. The active ingredient in Vetoryl, Trilostane, acts as an adrenocortical suppressant, inhibiting the enzymes responsible for cortisol synthesis within the adrenal glands.

By blocking these enzymes, Vetoryl effectively reduces the production of cortisol, thereby normalizing cortisol levels in the bloodstream. This helps alleviate the symptoms associated with Cushing's syndrome, such as increased thirst, appetite, and urination, as well as hair loss and muscle weakness.

Vetoryl's ability to suppress adrenal gland activity and regulate cortisol production contributes to restoring hormonal balance in affected dogs. This leads to an improvement in the overall well-being of pets, allowing them to enjoy a better quality of life with reduced discomfort and symptoms associated with Cushing's syndrome.

Vetoryl (Medicine for Cushings disease)
April 4, 2019
The medicine is just as described, we use this to treat our dogs cushings disease. So far, the medicine has been working so we plan to use this for treatment as long as we can! The pricing is the best we have seen, even than what our local vet offers.

Entirely Pets Makes it Possible to Treat My Pet with Cushing's using branded Vetoryl with best pricing!
October 4, 2018
I am so grateful to everyone at ENTIRELYPETS. Dechra Pet makes Vetoryl, an ex-human med that was already generic and they "rebranded" if for Cushings Disease in America and have the most appalling sales strategy I have ever seen, and I come from 20 years of Pharmaceutical experience on the human side. Like the rest of us, I have worked like I do most of my life, and had an income that could begrudgingly support this pricing I have yet to describe. The medicine is good, and my dog like many others required dosing in excess o the weight-based package insert until "the symptoms were treated" which in the end for a 61 lb dog is 120mg twice a day.

Costco has the best "walk-in" pricing, and It was already over $400.00/mo. I have been beyond sick with Auto-Immune Disease's and now, every penny counts. EntirelyPets sold me this same Branded Drug and Quantity (plus I saved on State tax) and paid around $185.vs $400 - $500 How the heck do they do it? They are still paying a lot but cutting a ton of profit for us, the customer. It saved me from having to sell my house immediately - the last thing I own from much better times!
Ellie Mae is 14 and was in pretty good shape other than some arthritis handled by Adequan and a daily medicine. But someone changed and I was paying close attention. She got Cushing's Disease. Dechra Pet makes Vetoryl they "rebranded" a previously new "patented drug" used for something entirely different.

You would Imagine buying gone Patented drug for one person or dog for one Disease State to be the norm, correct? And if the dose got larger and required more product depending on the company it may or may not cost more, correct? Well, let's make that analogy with renting a house for one month. Dechra Pet has you renting at least 2 fulll price rental homes a month for anything over a 17-pound dog. My 61-pound dog requires 4 rental homes for one dog for one month.

See we started at over $100, the over $200, over $300 then over $400. I called Dechra Pet right away assuming that have a 12-month coupon to keep your priced no higher than say $125 or so. Nope. They were "outraged" at the idea. "Well, how did Synthroid/ Levothyroxine manage to do it for Hypothyroid?" Not comparable. "Perfect comparison. One Endocrine System Hormone over or underproducing vs another". "Enjoy it while it lasts. This would be illegal in human medicine and you know it. Medicare is the #1 payer and I would love to see you charge 4 units full price for one month for one person.', all for you making money, but your pricing practices are immoral and fully greedy and stink". Thank you or testing the product of Cushing for dogs if works well. The opposite of thank you for greed that is altering my life soon to almost $500 a month."

Once again I LOVE ENTIRELYPETS FOR SAVING ME from this daily problem and offering me this branded medication at lightning speed! AND saving me from having to put my house up and sell it.

Merchant Response:Sammy, that was heartbreaking to read. I'm glad that you found us, we do what we can to keep our prices low. We work directly with Dechra and other drug manufactures skipping distribution and other layers that mark-up drugs. I wish you and your dog the best. We will be here for you if you need us. You both take care.
