Description
Previcox (Firocoxib) Chewable Tablets for Dogs are prescription-strength NSAID tablets formulated to relieve pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis and post-surgical procedures in dogs. Trusted by veterinarians, Previcox delivers targeted COX-2 enzyme inhibition to reduce swelling, stiffness, and discomfort while preserving overall mobility. Its palatable chewable form ensures stress-free daily administration.
Key Benefits of Previcox
- Veterinary-Trusted Pain Relief: Helps manage chronic pain and joint inflammation caused by canine osteoarthritis.
- Post-Surgical Support: Controls pain and inflammation following orthopedic or soft-tissue surgeries.
- COX-2 Specific NSAID: Targets the source of inflammation while minimizing gastrointestinal side effects common with non-selective NSAIDs.
- Easy-to-Give Chewable Tablets: Beef-flavored formulation simplifies daily dosing for pet parents.
- Once-Daily Convenience: Effective pain relief with just one oral dose per day.
How Previcox Works
Previcox contains firocoxib, a COX-2 selective nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the cyclooxygenase-2 enzyme, which is involved in the production of prostaglandins that trigger inflammation and pain in dogs.
Indications
Indicated for the control of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, as well as for the management of postoperative pain related to soft-tissue and orthopedic surgeries in dogs.
