Entyce® is the only FDA-approved veterinary therapeutic labeled for stimulation of appetite in dogs and is an important tool in the medical management of conditions where appetite is reduced.
Convenient, once-daily oral solution for treating inappetence
Easy for pet owners to administer
Flavored liquid formulation
Take control of appetite
ENTYCE® (capromorelin oral solution) is the ONLY FDA-approved therapeutic that was developed specifically to stimulate appetite in dogs
ENTYCE has a targeted mechanism of action that mimics ghrelin (the "hunger hormone") to trigger the feeling of hunger
ENTYCE is proven to effectively and safely stimulate appetite in dogs
ENTYCE treats the sympton of inappetence so that you can diagnose the underlying chronic or acute condition
When animals do not eat over a period of time, they experience weight loss and muscle wasting
Pet owners can be distressed by these effects and often perceive them as evidence of suffering or a decreased quality of life
If pets develop extreme frailty, treatment options may not be as effective
A long-term poor nutritional state may result in:1,2,3
Decreased quality of life leading to decreased survival Decreased musculoskeletal strength Delayed wound healing Decreased immune response
Directions
ENTYCE provides a convenient, once-daily oral solution for treating inappetence. Please reference the chart for recommended dosages.
To administer ENTYCE, the bottle should be shaken gently and then the appropriate amount of solution withdrawn using the provided syringe. The syringe should be rinsed between treatment dose.1

CONCLUSION This study demonstrates that a ghrelin receptor agonist, ENTYCE, can stimulate appetite and increase body weight in a large population of client-owned dogs with reduced appetite of varying etiologies and was well-tolerated.
My senior dog became unwell and lost his appetite 2 days before Christmas. The urgent care Vet prescribed me entyce appetite stimulant and it worked great! But it was a small dosage bottle and only lasted for 5 days. I ordered a larger 30ml bottle from entirely pet pharmacy (approved same day by my vet). It took almost 10 days for me to receive it from the pharmacy, My dog is very ill and I will never use this pharmacy again! The medication works , but the timeline to ship/deliver was too long for a sick senior pet!
Pros
Entyce appetite stimulant works well for pets who lost their appetite and are not well!
Cons
Took to long to ship/deliver to my door! Will never use this pharmacy company again!

Dog passed & wanted to cancel since product had not her received.
June 18, 2024
My dog passed before I even received the product. I called & emailed immediately to cancel. I did not hear from anyone so called again the following day, still having not received this. I was told that they do not accept returns but hoped they would make an exception. Especially since my dog had passed & having not received the product until 3 days after I made the initial contact. I was then told,Sean, the supervisor would return my call. It is still unopened in its original box awaiting for a supervisor that would understand my situation & allow me to return this. It’s been two weeks …

It Works!
April 14, 2022
I have a beautiful German Shepherd. She’s a little high strung, and food simply is not one of her priorities! My Vetinarian prescribed Entyce and we’ve been using it about a year now. She consistently eats all her food when she receives this medicine. But if I choose to not give it to her, she just doesn’t eat much of what I normally prepare for her. Certainly, if you have an animal that is having trouble gaining weight, Entyce will help with everyone walking away winners, and your sweet friend will be nourished and gain the weight needed!
Pros
- It works.
- Easy to use large numbered syringe to squirt medication into the mouth.
- Comes in two sizes depending on the size of your animal and the amount of milligrams it needs.
- No special handling or storage is needed.
- It seems to be well tolerated as my pet comes when called and she sees it?s her medicine time.
Cons
- It?s expensive.
- It is not easily available through local pharmacies and I have to order it from On-line websites.
- The bottles are small. 30 millimeters only lasts one week for the weight my pet is.
- The time from dosage to eating and successful appetite is variable and unpredictable. If I feed too early, my pet may not be interested in eating, and visa versa. If my pet doesn?t eat well, I consider the medicine has failed.
