Indications

Dormosedan Gel is indicated for use in horses to facilitate minor, non-invasive veterinary or husbandry procedures such as hoof trimming, shoeing, clipping, or dental exams. The gel provides reliable standing sedation and can be administered by horse owners under veterinary guidance.

Dormosedan Gel should be administered under the direction of a licensed veterinarian. The product is intended for oral sublingual use in horses only.

• Do not feed the horse 40 minutes before or after administration.
• Use the oral syringe provided to deliver the correct dose under the tongue (sublingually).
• Do not allow the horse to eat or drink until the sedative effect has worn off.
• Sedation typically begins within 30–45 minutes and lasts approximately 90–180 minutes.
• Only one dose should be administered per day.

Storage Instructions

• Store at controlled room temperature between 15°C and 30°C (59°F and 86°F).
• Protect from light and moisture.
• Keep out of reach of children and animals when not in use.
• Do not use after the expiration date on the label.
