Denestra SAMe is a dietary supplement that contains S-Adenosylmethionine (SAMe), a naturally occurring compound found in the body. SAMe plays a vital role in various biochemical processes, including the production of neurotransmitters and the maintenance of cell membranes.
It's important to note that individual results may vary, and it's always recommended to consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new dietary supplement.
Denestra with SAMe supports liver metabolic activity and proper liver function for dogs and cats. SAMe, or S-Adenosyl-Methionine, is a naturally occurring substance found in all living beings. SAMe in its biological form contributes to better pet health through a number of chemical processes: transmethylation, transsulfuration, and aminopropylation.
These processes can affect liver and joint health in animals. Through the process of transsulfuration, natural SAMe is converted into a compound called glutathione, a potent antioxidant and liver detoxification tool. It supports normal detoxification and cleansing of the liver from impurities, which in turn may help the body from exposure to heavy metal or environmental toxins.
Denestra with naturally occurring SAMe has added benefits for pet joint health as well. During the aminopropyl ation process, methylthioadenosine (MTA) is produced. MTA helps support cartilage matrix production in the joints, and may help maintain the effectiveness of proteoglycans, molecules that are critical for the lubrication of joints.
