Description

Cyclosporine (Generic) Modified Capsules for Dogs are a prescription medication used to treat certain immune-mediated disorders in dogs, such as atopic dermatitis (skin allergies) and perianal fistulas. Cyclosporine is an immunosuppressive agent that works by suppressing the immune system's response, reducing inflammation and symptoms associated with immune-mediated disorders. The modified capsules are designed to release the medication slowly, providing a steady level of medication in the dog's system. Cyclosporine (Generic) Modified Capsules for Dogs are available in various strengths and are typically given orally once or twice a day, as directed by a veterinarian.

Key Benefits:

  • Immunosuppressive Agent: Cyclosporine is an immunosuppressive agent that helps reduce inflammation and symptoms associated with immune-mediated disorders in dogs.
  • Slow-Release Formula: The modified capsules are designed to release the medication slowly, providing a steady level of medication in the dog's system.
  • Prescription Medication: Cyclosporine (Generic) Modified Capsules for Dogs are a prescription medication and should only be used under the guidance of a veterinarian.
  • Dosage: The dosage of cyclosporine varies depending on the dog's weight, condition, and other factors. It is important to follow the veterinarian's instructions carefully.

Indications:

Cyclosporine (Generic) Modified Capsules for Dogs are indicated for the treatment of certain immune-mediated disorders in dogs, including atopic dermatitis (skin allergies) and perianal fistulas. These conditions are characterized by an abnormal immune response that leads to inflammation and other symptoms. Cyclosporine works by suppressing the immune system's response, reducing inflammation and alleviating the symptoms associated with these disorders. Cyclosporine (Generic) Modified Capsules for Dogs are available in various strengths and are typically given orally once or twice a day, as directed by a veterinarian.

How it works:

Cyclosporine (Generic) Modified Capsules for Dogs work by suppressing the activity of the immune system. In immune-mediated disorders such as atopic dermatitis and perianal fistulas, the immune system becomes overactive and attacks healthy tissues, leading to inflammation and other symptoms. Cyclosporine inhibits the production of certain proteins called cytokines, which play a key role in the immune response. By suppressing cytokine production, cyclosporine helps to reduce inflammation and alleviate the symptoms of immune-mediated disorders. The modified capsules are designed to release the medication slowly, providing a steady level of medication in the dog's system to maintain its effectiveness over time.

Awesome for dog with bad allergies
July 29, 2023
My dog has severe environmental allergies and was prescribed cyclosporine by his dermatologist. He's been taking it for a few years now and it's really been helping him. He was taking it probably 6 months or more before it really started to help him. He used to take it every day but now only has to take it 2 days a week. Sometimes I do have to give it more often when he has a flare up because sometimes antihistamines don't help enough. Definitely a great improvement in his itchiness since taking it.

Product was perfect processing the order was frustrating at best.
February 28, 2022
I have been a customer for a while and frequently run have issues processing my order. Here is what happened this time.
1. Received an email that my order was processing and would ship soon and my credit card was charged.
2. Received an email that my order required vet approval. I contacted my vet but then saw that my prescription label noted I had refills available. I called and asked why I needed vet approval and was told to ignore that email and that my order would be shipped.
3. Then received an email that the product was back ordered. I called and mentioned that I spoke to some one who said my order was being shipped. That person told me no that my order was back ordered and the person did not have all the information to confirm shipment. I was told it would be a week or longer for the order.
4. This is a medicine that my cat needs. I quickly scrambled to find the product elsewhere at a higher price and got my vet to approve and the rush order was made.
5. The next day I received an email that my order from you was shipped.
6. I received both orders. So I now have two orders one from you and one from another company- which I didn’t need to scramble to get and pay extra for an addition prescription.
7. I hope you see my frustration.
