To the rescue - cuts, cough, and more
March 28, 2020
I rescue cats and I'm part of the TNVR program. Too many people either leave their animals when they leave, don't fix them, or drop them off. I've rescued many that are not only mild mannered, but have already been fixed. Yet they're emaciated and sometimes pretty battered. Some cats that I've got either got cut trying to get out of somewhere (or maybe had a bad parent), or got into some pretty bad fights with who knows what. Sometimes these cuts are oozing and smell. Sometimes they have such a bad cough you'd think they have pneumonia. As long as the cat is easy to handle and hasn't become too feral, this is a great medication to get rid of quite a few problems. And once this medication has started working, it really kicks in. You still have to wait for cuts to heal, but at least they're not oozing nastiness anymore. Because it is in pill form, it can be stored for quite a bit longer than an aqueous medication before it goes bad. So if you need it later, it will be there.
