Indications
Valbazen 11.36% Suspension is indicated for the treatment and control of the following internal parasites:
- Cattle: Adult liver flukes (Fasciola hepatica), tapeworms, adult and immature stomach worms, intestinal worms, and lungworms.
- Sheep: Adult liver flukes, tapeworms, stomach worms, intestinal worms, and lungworms.
- Goats (non-lactating): Adult liver flukes only.

Directions
Valbazen 11.36% Suspension is administered orally using a standard dosing syringe or drench gun. Dosage is based on species and body weight:
- Cattle and Goats: 4 mL per 100 lb of body weight (4.54 mg/lb or 10 mg/kg)
- Sheep: 0.75 mL per 25 lb of body weight (3.4 mg/lb or 7.5 mg/kg)

- Cattle: 500 mL treats 25 head at 500 lb; 1 liter treats 50 head; 5 liters treats 250 head.
- Sheep: 500 mL treats 332 animals at 50 lb; 1 liter treats 664; 5 liters treats 3,320.
- Goats: 500 mL treats 250 animals at 50 lb; 1 liter treats 500; 5 liters treats 2,500.
Important Administration Notes
Accurate body weight estimates are essential for proper dosing. Animals continuously exposed to internal parasites may require repeat treatments. Always consult your veterinarian for treatment protocols and parasite control strategies.
Residue Warnings
- Cattle: Do not slaughter within 27 days after treatment.
- Sheep & Goats: Do not slaughter within 7 days after treatment.
- Dairy Use: Do not use in lactating does or female dairy cattle of breeding age, as no milk withdrawal period has been established.
Precautions
- Do not treat female cattle during the first 45 days of pregnancy or within 45 days after bull removal.
- Do not treat ewes or does during the first 30 days of pregnancy or within 30 days after removal of rams or bucks.
