Description

Safe-Guard Dewormer for Goats (Fenbendazole Paste 10%) is a broad-spectrum dewormer indicated for the effective removal and control of internal parasites in goats. It is also commonly used for beef and dairy cattle, making it a versatile solution for multi-species parasite management.

Effective Against the Following Internal Parasites:

  • Lungworms
  • Stomach worms (adults and fourth-stage larvae)
  • Brown stomach worms
  • Intestinal worms (adults and fourth-stage larvae)
  • Hookworms
  • Thread-necked intestinal worms
  • Small intestinal worms
  • Bankrupt worms
  • Nodular worms

Directions

Goat Deworming Dosage Instructions – Safe-Guard Paste 10%

To ensure effective parasite control, determine the correct dose based on your goat's estimated body weight. Safe-Guard Paste 10% (fenbendazole) should be administered orally at a dosage of 2.3 mg per pound (5 mg/kg). This dose is achieved by giving 2.3 mL of paste for every 100 lbs of body weight.

For goats under continuous exposure to parasites, re-treatment may be necessary every 4 to 6 weeks to maintain effective parasite control.

Residue Warnings:

  • Do not slaughter treated goats for food within 6 days of the last treatment.
  • Not for use in lactating goats—a milk withdrawal period has not been established.
