Safe-Guard Dewormer Suspension for Cattle is a fast-acting, low-volume oral deworming solution formulated for beef and dairy cattle. It provides effective treatment and control of key internal parasites including lungworms, stomach worms, intestinal worms, bankrupt worms, and nodular worms. This suspension offers a low-stress, convenient method for parasite control and supports overall herd health.

Effective Against the Following Cattle Parasites:

  • Lungworms (Dictyocaulus viviparus)
  • Stomach worms – adults and fourth-stage larvae
  • Brown stomach worm (Ostertagia ostertagi)
  • Intestinal worms – adults and fourth-stage larvae
  • Hookworms
  • Thread-necked intestinal worm (Nematodirus spp.)
  • Small intestinal worms
  • Bankrupt worm (Trichostrongylus axei)

Directions

Safe-Guard (Fenbendazole) Dewormer Suspension should be administered orally based on estimated body weight. The recommended dosage is 2.3 mg per lb (5 mg/kg) of body weight. This is achieved by giving 2.3 mL of the dewormer per 100 lb of body weight.

In areas with continuous parasite exposure, retreatment may be necessary every 4 to 6 weeks for effective parasite control.

Residue Warnings

  • Cattle: Do not slaughter within 8 days after treatment.
  • Goats: Do not slaughter within 6 days after treatment.
  • Milk Withdrawal: Do not use in lactating goats. No withdrawal period required for dairy cattle milk.
  • Do not use in pre-ruminating calves or calves intended for veal.
