    Directions

For pregnant mares administer a 2 mL dose intramuscularly in the 5th, 7th and 9th months of pregnancy. Three doses are essential for primary immunization. Maiden and barren mares housed or pastured with pregnant mares should be vaccinated on the same schedule. For primary vaccination against respiratory disease administer three 2 mL doses intramuscularly at four to six week intervals. A 2 mL booster dose should be administered annually and at any time epidemic conditions exist or are reported and exposure is imminent.

Store at 2-7°C (35-45°F). Do not freeze. Use entire contents when first opened. Shake well before using. Contains gentamicin as a preservative. Do not vaccinate within 21 days prior to slaughter. In rare instances, administration of vaccines may cause lethargy, fever, and inflammatory or hypersensitivity types of reactions. Treatment may include antihistamines, anti-inflammatories, and/or epinephrine. Vaccinating animals whose immune response is compromised by stress, disease, etc. may not produce the desired results.
