PanaKare Plus is used to encourage a healthy appetite in dogs and cats when digestion of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats is inadequate due to exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI). EPI occurs when the pancreas becomes damaged, resulting in malnutrition even when diet and intake is normal.

For use as a digestive aid in replacement therapy where digestion of protein, carbohydrate and fat is inadequate due to exocrine pancreatic insufficiency.

Administer with each meal.
Dose is estimated according to the severity of the condition andweight of the animal. Once clinical signs are controlled, dose may be reduced to lowest effective dose.
Add to moistened pet food (canned or dry) prior to feeding.Thorough mixing is necessary to bring the enzymes into close contact with the food particles.
After mixing, let stand at room temperature for 15-20 minutes (minimum).
Average Dose/Meal
Dogs: 3/4–1 teaspoon
Cats: 1/4–3/4 teaspoon
Caution:
Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.
Discontinue use in animals with symptoms of sensitivity.
Oral and/or tongue ulceration may occur at higher doses. Ulcers typically resolve with a reduction in dose or slight dilution of productwith water.
Precautions:
If your pet develops a sensitivity to this medication, discontinue use immediately. In some animals, irritation of oral mucous may develop.
Warnings
For animal use only. Not for human use. Keep out of reach of children.
Storage:
Store at a temperature between 15°-30°C (59°-86°F). Keep lid tightly closed.
