Ora-Clens Advanced Enzymatic Toothpaste Peanut Butter Flavor (5 oz)

The doggie toothpaste I usually get is beef flavored and is not my dogs' favorite. They seem to like the peanut butter flavor a lot more than the beef flavor and they are more cooperative with letting me brush their teeth than they were before. More importantly, it seems to be doing a good job cleaning their teeth and taking care of their doggie breath. I am happy with this product.

My dog has been developing bad breath lately and his teeth weren't their best in appearance. He doesn't like to chew on dental bones so it's been a real struggle to keep his teeth clean. It has been too long since he had a professional cleaning due to the high price tag. After one time use of this toothpaste, I can see a big difference. First time I ever used dog toothpaste with him and he loved it. Not as good as a vet cleaning but it does an amazing job.

My dog isn't crazy about the taste, but will let me clean her teeth with it. The last kind we had was chicken flavored, and she would lick a little off of my finger to get the brushing session started. With this peanut butter flavor she won't do that, but will allow me to clean her teeth with it. So, I think it does an adequate job at what it's meant for. I just don't think I'll get peanut butter flavor next time.

I have been using this for a month with my three dogs. Two are puppies who are just learning to have their teeth brushed and seem to like the toothpaste. My 17 year old dog hates peanut butter and he only has 4 teeth left so I have pretty much given up on using this toothpaste on him and upsetting the old man.

It's taken sometime for my pups to get used to regular teeth brushing but they seem to like this tooth paste. They like the smell and are content just licking it off the finger tooth brush I use. I am starting to see some difference, but it's worth noting I have also been giving them a powder additive in their food which I think is also helping to remove some of the plaque build up. I will continue to use as I trust traditional toothbrushing over these new additives for dog oral hygiene.

I love how easy it is to brush my pups teeth with the Ora-Clens Advanced Enzymatic Toothpaste. It seems like the flavor of the paste is up my pups alley since he definitely sits there and allows me to brush as he also slightly licks the toothpaste. I have noticed that there is a lot less plaque that builds up on his teeth after brushing daily and his breath is much more fresh in general as well. If you are looking for one that comes pup recommended I'd say the Ora-cleans is the way to go.

My wife picked this out, her response: I picked this toothpaste to try rotate with my dogs other toothpaste to see if the peanut butter flavor wold be more appealing, my dogs still hates to get his teeth brushed.The toothpaste is very smooth-creamy, smells like peanut butter vanilla, I use it with his dental wipes, it works well with the texture of the dental wipes.

My dogs loved the taste of this toothpaste and it made brushing their teeth easier. Not sure if it will help prevent plaque in the long term but it does help freshen their breathes. The tube is pretty big so it should last a long time. I have 2 Samoyeds and its still has more than 80% left.

This toothpaste has the right ingredients and comes in a nice big tube. Unfortunately, my pup wasn't a fan of the flavor, even though he loves peanut butter. Taste preferences vary a lot though, so your dog might like it!

The smell is very off, and the ingridents (once you can get the sticker off the ingrident label) concern me. So therefore we will not be using this product to brush the pups teefers. We've used a vet recommended toothpaste with enzymatic formula in it to break down any build up and this one just isn't equip to doing that sort of thing. Reason for giving it two stars is it's not that expensive and it could work as a quick fix but I'm just extreamly conscious of what I put inside my dogs mouths. They don't even have cheap treats.

I had a hard time deciding whether to give this 3 or 4 stars. On the positive side it's an enzymatic toothpaste, the tube is large so you get a lot of product for the price and it arrives foil sealed under the cap. The company also has a (functional) website listed on the tube. They make a lot of other pet supplements (USA) and have a customer service phone number with actual hours listed on the contact page. The downside is my dogs don't like it and it has a strange smell. I've been brushing my dogs teeth daily for years so they're used to the routine and seem to enjoy the flavor of our regular brand of enzymatic toothpaste like it's a treat at the end of the day. I tried a tiny dab of each on my tongue to see what the fuss was about and indeed this one has a very odd taste by comparison. Both contain silica for slightly abrasive cleaning and enzymes to help control bacteria in the mouth and that's what I want in a dog toothpaste but I will stick with my tried and true brand simply because my dogs prefer it.

This is so hard to use because my dogs love it so much they just want to eat it, lol, which makes it difficult actually brushing their teeth. But otherwise we're happy with it, it even gives my smallest dog a bit better breath even. Haven't used it long enough to know whether it makes a difference or not. The tube is large and will last a long time, will definitely use the entire thing and the evaluate the progress.

We tried this tooth issue from Ora-Clens with a toothbrush made for kids. Epic fail after chasing her around the house to retrieve the tooth brush. My next thought was, this should come with a dog tooth brush…but my tooth paste doesn't come with a toothbrush. They assume I brush my teeth so I should already have one. So now I have a doggie finger toothbrush.We are doing much better. I was able to brush her top teeth after a couple tries and the next day we got the bottom teeth. Patience and not pushing too hard when her interest shifted. The flavor is a definite plus. My dog is very patient when she thinks she is getting treats, and the flavor and scent of this toothpaste kept her very interested.5 Stars.

My dogs were literally surrounding me trying to get to be next for their teeth to be brushed once I opened this and gave them a taste.Brushing has been super easy the past few nights as they love this gel. Anything to make my life easier and my dogs healthier I am for!I'd love a different flavor option, maybe beef or something.

The dogs tolerate this ok. It doesn't really smell like peanut butter to me but I did not taste it. It looks like goo, nothing specific about the appearance. It's important for dog's health to keep up on oral hygiene so I'm trying to be more regular about brushing. This is a big tube of paste so it should last a while.

My dog loves to eat anything and everything except this toothpaste ha! She tried it and was hesitant to let me brush. She finally let me and it worked great. It is a big tube for the money and has great stuff for the dogs teeth but the taste might have something different in it vs other peanut butter dog tooth paste.

I like this dog toothpaste comes with natural ingredients. It has a typical plastic bottle that is easy to dispense and place the product on a toothbrush. It appears to taste ok based on my dog's reaction.

Very premium looking product and with an easy squeeze tube. It's really to get my dogs to let me brush their teeth but this toothpaste has really helped as my dogs like the taste. It smells great too. I definitely recommend.

My girl loves the taste of peanut butter, so she was pretty happy to sample this toothpaste. Less happy about the actual brushing of teeth with the toothpaste but I've yet to find a toothpaste so good that she looks forward to that nightly ritual.Be aware that the size of this toothpaste is about double the size of most dog toothpastes. The price is a little on the higher side but not once you take the volume you are getting into consideration.

The dog loves the flavor and there's plenty of this gel in the tube, which is a nice change from so many of the enymatic toothpaste gel packages out there. It's easy to use, with a flip top cap. I don't love the ingredients list on this one, however... I suppose it seemed like an enymatic paste would be mostly a mechanical scrubbing substance (like the silica in this) and the enzymes, plus flavor and water, but I wasn't expecting the artificial sweeteners. Since you can't get a dog to rinse and spit, it seems like he shouldn't be given something that he's likely to swallow that can also trigger diarrhea and other issues. Maybe I'm being too picky--but I'll probably switch to another version that doesn't contain those next time.

My dog didn't like the previous toothpaste we had. It was bacon flavored -- what's not to like about that?? But this one, peanut butter flavored, she seems to like much better. Good stuff. It's still very hard trying to brush a dog's teeth. But this makes it at least a little easier.

My dog hates getting her teeth brushed but she showed interest in this peanut butter flavored toothpaste and actually behaved pretty well during her usual brushing. The paste seems to work well and I am very pleased, as is my dog!

This Ora-Clens Advanced Enzymatic Toothpaste is great stuff. A little too good as my dog kept eating it before I could get a brushing. Anyway, we worked through it and eventually got a really nice teeth cleaning. I don't brush his teeth as often as I should because it was a battle to get him to open his mouth. Ora-Clens Advanced Enzymatic Toothpaste has solved that problem, making it easy for me to recommend. Thanks!

My dog approves of this toothpaste. He thought it was definitely a treat and wanted more. The tube does not feel overly full, so I'm not sure how long it will last. My dog doesn't have any dental issues, I just like to maintain his teeth (he is 4) he basically wants to eat this and lets me rub it around in his mouth. That's a win for me!

Everyone knows it is a chore to get any dog to accept getting their teeth brushed - more so than getting stubborn 4 year old child to eat their veggies. The flavor seemed to help at least get our dog to open her mouth (then she licked and chewed on the finger brush) but we managed to get "in there" without her fighting us as much. She still hates brushing but at least she looks forward to being able to get a "treat" while doing so now. I am able to brush longer now to get more plaque off so fingers crossed it will continue to help down the line.

Lately I've been noticing that our pups breath was getting stinky. I thought that a couple little raw carrots and a dental treat a day was enough... When the vet set us straight after a recent visit, I quickly ordered this Ora Cleanse toothpaste from PHS.I guess our dog didn't really care for the flavor of his last toothpaste because with this peanut butter flavor toothpaste he will gobble it right out of the tube. The fact that he likes the flavor is making it much easier to do a thorough job of cleaning his teeth. And unlike in past, I am using this advanced enzymatic toothpaste daily.It has only been 3 days and I can already notice a difference in my pup's breath. Way less smelly. I'm also noticing that the fur around his mouth is less slimy and there was some discoloration which is fading.This toothpaste is gold! I'm sure it is doing much more for our dog than just giving him better breath, and I am looking forward to our next vet visit, where I won't get a lecture.The 3 oz tube is selling for $12.99, which seems a bit high but dental health is important to my dog, and my dog is important to me, so I will happily keep buying this product.
