Instrument Lubricant, Concentrate, 1 Gallon

Instrument Lubricant Concentrate specially formulated to be used as a lubricant and rust inhibitor for surgical and dental instruments including carbon steel. It is compatible with all sterilization methods and is antimicrobial for 28 days after dilution.

Always wear gloves and eye protection when using this product.

Automatic Washers: Add 1/8 ounce to 2 ounces per gallon of water. Dilutions vary depending on temperature, water quality and equipment involved. Consult equipment manufacturer guidelines for recommended setting.

Manual Lubrication: Make fresh lubricant solution weekly. Add 1 part Instrument Lubricant to 6 parts distilled or demineralized water. Tap water may be used if it is not “hard” water. Mix thoroughly. Immerse clean instruments, with box locks open, into solution for 30-40 seconds and let drain. Work tight instruments open and closed in solution until they operate freely. Allow instruments to dry and then proceed with sterilization. Problem instruments can be soaked overnight. Cover lubricant solution tray when not in use. Use Instrument Lubricant daily to obtain maximum results.

CAUTION: Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of eye contact, flush with water for 15 minutes. In case of skin contact, rinse with water. If irritation persists, contact a physician.
