It also helps to manage scars. This solution is ideal for many wounds, including pressure ulcers, first- and second-degree burns, surgical wounds, venous stasis ulcers and autograft procedures.
Hycoat works by coating nerve endings that relay pain indication to the brain. Its versatile formula also provides scar maintenance and reduces the chance of infection in/at any wounded area.

Not intended for use as a long-term or permanent dressing. Hycoat is to be dispensed by prescription only. Not for use in horses hypersensitive (allergic) to any of the components of an injectable hyaluronate product. Do not use in joints where the skin has been recently fired or blistered, or has had counterirritants applied.
May see local reactions including increased warmth or swelling at the site of application. Consult your veterinarian if you notice any of these side effects. These effects usually disappear in 24-96 hours.
