DOUXO Chlorhexidine PS Micro-Emulsion Spray is a no-rinse, antiseptic treatment formulated for dogs and cats. It helps manage bacterial and fungal skin infections, supports skin barrier restoration, and reduces inflammation. This easy-to-use spray is ideal for pets that are difficult to bathe, allowing consistent topical care over large or hard-to-reach areas.
Indications:
Recommended for the management of skin conditions related to bacterial and fungal infections, including:
- Bacterial Dermatitis: Especially effective against Staphylococcus pseudintermedius
- Fungal Infections: Helps control Malassezia dermatitis
- Skin Inflammation: Reduces redness, scaling, and irritation
- Seborrheic Conditions: Supports long-term control of oily or flaky skin
- Allergic Dermatitis Support: Aids in managing secondary infections associated with allergies

Ingredients
Active Ingredients:
- Chlorhexidine Gluconate 3%: A broad-spectrum antiseptic that helps eliminate harmful bacteria and fungi on the skin.
- Phytosphingosine Salicyloyl 0.05%: A pro-ceramide with anti-inflammatory and skin barrierrestoring properties, aiding in the management of skin disorders.
Directions
Directions for Use:
- Shake well before each use.
- Brush the pets coat to remove loose hair, debris, or mats.
- Hold the bottle about 12 inches (30 cm) from the pet's body.
- Spray directly onto the affected areas of the skin. For small to medium-sized areas, apply 13 pumps per site.
- Massage gently into the skin to ensure even distribution. Do not rinse.
- Allow the product to air dry naturally. Do not towel dry.
- Apply once daily or as directed by your veterinarian.
- For widespread use, the product may be sprayed over the entire body every 23 days or as instructed by your vet.
Storage Instructions:
- Store at room temperature, between 5986°F (1530°C).
- Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.
- Do not freeze or expose to excessive heat or direct sunlight.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets when not in use.
Additional Notes:
- For external use only on dogs and cats.
- Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or mucous membranes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
- If skin irritation occurs or worsens, discontinue use and consult your veterinarian.
