Description

CitraVet Potassium Citrate is a liver-flavored chewable tablet recommended for dogs and cats that are prone to recurring urinary stones (calcium oxalate stones) or low urine pH levels. It supports urinary health and can be used as an aid in the management of urinary tract disorders. CitraVet is available as double-scored chewable tablets and requires a prescription from your veterinarian.

Key Benefits

  • Supports and maintains urinary health
  • Helps prevent urinary stones
  • Balances urine pH
  • Double-scored tables for easy administration
  • Tasty liver flavored chewable tablets

How It Works

CitraVet contains potassium citrate to increase the urine alkalinity, which helps maintain and manage a healthy urine pH. CitraVet increases citrate levels in the bladder causing the calcium in the bladder to bind to the citrate instead of the oxalate, which prevents the formation of calcium oxalate stones (urinary stones).
