Cheristin’s long-lasting formula protects against fleas through 6 weeks1 and is applied using a rounded tip applicator for comfortable, easy application. Safety Warning
Keep out of the reach of children. Harmful if swallowed. Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes or clothing. FOR USE ON CATS AND KITTENS ONLY. For external use only.
Dosage
To kill fleas and prevent reinfestations, apply to cats and kittens 8 weeks of age and older as follows: 1. Use only on cats and kittens 8 weeks of age and older and weighing 1.8 lbs. or more. Do not use more than a single dose on cats weighing greater than 20 lbs. Do not allow your cat to ingest this product.
Application
- Hold the applicator tube upright and press cap down until it clicks, indicating the tube has been punctured.
- Remove the cap and make sure there is an opening at the tip of the tube.
- Part the hair on your cat’s neck at the base of the head until the skin is visible.
- Place the tip of the tube directly above the skin and squeeze 2-4 times to dispense the contents directly on the skin.
Extra Application Tips
- Do not use more than a single dose per month on an individual cat.
- For best results, apply at the base of the head, not between shoulder blades.
- Avoid getting Cheristin in your pet’s eyes or mouth.
- Do not allow your cat to ingest Cheristin.

Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage and disposal.

Store in original package in a cool dry place inaccessible to children and animals.

Precautions
For use on cats and kittens only. For external use only. Do not use on kittens less than eight (8) weeks of age or weighing less than 1.8 lb. Do not allow your cat to ingest this product. As with any product, consult your veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, pregnant or nursing animals known to be sensitive to pesticides.

- Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15 - 20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing.
- Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.
If Swallowed
- Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have the product label with you when you call the poison control center or medical professional.
- Have person sip glass of water if able to swallow.
- Do not induce vomiting unless told by a poison control center or doctor.
- Do not give anything to an unconscious person.

Possible Side Effects
Monitor your cat after application. Side effects may include signs of application site reactions such as application site hair loss, hair change (greasy, clumping or matting) or redness, inflammation, and itching. Other side effects such as inactivity, vomiting, and inappetence have also been reported. If these or any other side effects occur, consult your veterinarian, your cat's healthcare expert. - Service from Entirely Pets stinks. My order did not arrive in 8 days and traveled from California to Georgia to Florida and then back to California. It finally arrived after going to Georgia again and up to Pennsylvania and finally to Florida. Called and left VM (I'm on the East Coast) to inquire about the package. Also sent email to the address listed on their website. Never received a call or an email reply. They definitely took the money out of my account before the package arrived so there wasn't an incentive on their part to get back to me. Poor service and not worth the headache.

When I took my tiny kitten to the veterinarian we discussed flea products. Fleas in Florida are a difficult problem and lots of animals suffer allergies because of them. The veterinary clinic sells several different types of flea products. So I asked the vet which one she uses on her cats. She said she only uses Cheristin because she researched all of the ingredients. She said that it is safe and effective. My cats are happy and flea free.

This was recommended for my cats by my vet, after the other preparations like Revolution raised sores on their backs. You can watch as the fleas fall off them. I wish the container were easier to use than the small tube that requires me to try to push the cap to pierce the seal. It's small and difficult to hold, especially if you have severe arthritis in your hands. Also, the cats seem to know when I open a tube, as it has a very strong odor that they do not like. Please note that my rating is for the effectiveness of the Cheristin, not its packaging or odor.

We have been using Cheristin for years for our cats. It always works quickly, doesn't seem to effect the cats or make them sick, and we just use it when we start noticing fleas, and once applied, we can just forget about it. Although it is expensive, this is the place with the best price, and quick service, so it makes a great product easier to obtain. Us humans and the cats are very satisfied.
