Recommended for infiltration, nerve block, intra-articular and epidural anesthesia for horses
Enables the veterinarian to proceed with intended equine health care procedures without delay and to complete work under desensitization, which is adequate even for prolonged operations
Includes the active ingredient mepivacaine hydrochloride, a safe and effective local anesthetic
For palmar digital nerve blocks, CARBOCAINE-V was shown to be fully effective between 15 minutes and one hour post injection. The analgesic effect began to subside between one to two hours, but sufficient analgesia persisted to affect gait characteristics beyond two hours.
