Canine Spectra 9 is indicated for the vaccination of healthy dogs 6 weeks of age or older to aid in the prevention of the following diseases:

Dosage & Administration: Administer a 1 mL dose of Canine Spectra 9 by subcutaneous injection. To prepare, twist or tap the syringe cap against a hard surface to break the heat seal. Inject the provided diluent into the vial containing the freeze-dried vaccine cake. Shake thoroughly until fully dissolved, then withdraw the entire contents into the syringe. Clean the injection site with antiseptic before administering the vaccine.

Subcutaneous Injection: Lift the loose skin behind the neck or in front of the hind leg. Insert the needle beneath the skin and inject the entire dose. Do not inject directly into a blood vessel.

IMPORTANT: Before injection, gently pull back on the syringe plunger. If blood enters the syringe, choose a new injection site immediately. Follow the recommended vaccination schedule based on the dog’s age and health status.

• Puppies (6 weeks or older): Vaccinate every 2–3 weeks until at least 16 weeks of age.
• Dogs over 12 weeks of age: Administer one dose followed by a second dose 2–3 weeks later.
• Annual booster: Revaccinate with a single dose yearly to maintain immunity.

Precautions:

Vaccinate only healthy animals. Dogs that are ill, stressed, undernourished, or incubating disease may not develop adequate immunity. Burn empty containers and any unused contents safely. In rare cases, serious allergic reactions (anaphylaxis) may occur and require immediate veterinary intervention.

Storage Instructions:

Store the vaccine between 35°F and 45°F (2°C to 7°C), protected from direct sunlight. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
