Indications
Cameo Otic is indicated for the control malodorous ear discharges and exudates associated with certain bacteria (Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus) and yeast (Malassezia pachydermatis).

Colloidal Silicon Dioxide, Isopropyl Myristate, Lanolin, Mineral Oil, Vitamin E, White Petrolatum, and a Proprietary Blend Comprised of Cassia Bark, Clove Bud, Eucalyptus, Origanum and Fragrance.
Directions
The external ear should be thoroughly cleaned and dried before treatment. Remove foreign material, debris?crusted exudates, etc. with suitable nonirritating solutions. When dispensed from the tube, the product is a viscous ointment at room temperature that becomes fluid at body temperature (about 37°C) to easily apply and coat the external ear canal.
Apply the contents of the tube until the ear canal is filled. Massage the base of the ear to ensure appropriate distribution of the ointment. Allow dog to shake head. Clean excess ointment with cotton ball. Apply once every 5?7 days as needed. See illustrations on inside box cover for more detail.

CAMEO is a once-a-week product that can be applied every 5 to 7 days or as recommended by your veterinarian.
Cleaning of the ear in between doses is based on the veterinarians recommendation; however the product was designed so that routine, weekly cleaning before each application was not necessary. As the label states, the ear should be cleaned and dried before the initial dose. Should abundant amounts of exudate be secreted in between applications however, another cleaning before administration may be advised by the veterinarian.
Completed studies of multiple freeze and thaw cycles showed that the product was not negatively impacted. Typical excursions to reasonable temperatures are not going to cause problems. However, storage above 30C (86F) is not recommended for long periods of time as it can negatively impact the concentration of some extract components.
