To introduce your dog to the toothpaste, apply a small amount onto your finger and allow pet to taste. Next, apply a small amount onto the Petrodex Toothbrush or Finger Toothbrush. Then, gently pull the lips and cheeks up. Begin brushing with short, back and forth strokes at the gumline. Brush only a few teeth the first time. Give a lot of praise during this process. Avoid using human toothpaste on your pet.

Sentry Poultry Flavored Toothpaste

Our previous dog only liked Sentry poultry toothpaste and our current dog loves it too! She thinks it is a treat when I brush her teeth with this. I really can't smell this toothpaste, but the flavor is obviously amazing to her. She is a rescue dog and had never had her teeh bruahed before we adopted her. She was afraid of anyone putting a brush in her mouth, but with this toothpaste, she is excited to have it done now. I order this online since our local store doesn't carry this flavor. It is worth the shipping cost!
