Great product at a decent price!

Our vet recommended these - one per day - to help keep tartar off of our pups teeth. I would hate to see her teeth if we were not using these.

Great product-doesn’t last long

Tartar Shield rawhide chews were recommended by our vet, as a safer alternative to bully sticks. Don’t need to be as concerned with swallowing these. Our 40 lbs spaniels go through large dog chew in a couple of minutes, and they love them. Time will determine if this is sufficient to clean teeth.

My vet recommended these for my dog after I had to get several of her teeth bonded due to her former owner’s neglect. All dogs go crazy for the Tarter Shield soft rawhide chews! I love them because they don’t choke on the chews like dogs do with other rawhide chews.

My dog finishes his dinner and looks at me until he gets his chew. Every doc that has seen him, says his teeth look good. Although this is not the only modality we use to make sure he has good clean teeth, but we feel this chew plays an integral part.

These were recommended by my vet - he thinks the chipped rawhide is safer/healthier than the treated rawhide strips. For the past 4 years I've been giving them to my now 6 year old dog. He loves them and his teeth have minimal tartar buildup.

- Kind of pricey, but offset by the need for fewer dental cleanings.

The fact that they help clean teeth and my dogs love them is very appealing. But the product leaves tiny crumbs all over the floor, so it requires more cleaning up for me. One solution is to feed these chews to the dogs when they are outside.

My dog loves these!

These must be delicious because our girl devours them! Her teeth are looking better with these chews combined with brushing. She fractured her molar on a hard antler chew ( Extraction needed! Take caution with hard chews!) and our vet dentist suggested we toss all potentially damaging chews and give her these.

- Tasty, break into small pieces as she chews so not a choking hazard like other rawhide, odorless, don't stain carpet.

This is the only product I have found that actually keeps a dog's teeth clean enough to avoid needing professional cleaning, which is best avoided due to requiring anesthesia.

I rescued a dog with terrible teeth. Vet said he needed a dental NOW. I did not want to subject the poor dog to that procedure so soon after his adoption, so started using these chews. That was 15 months ago and he still hasn't had to have a dental!
