Description

Calmera (clomipramine hydrochloride) Tablets are indicated for the treatment of generalized and separation-related anxiety in dogs greater than 6 months of age. • Scored tablet for easy and accurate dosing • Beef flavored for palatability • Can be administered as single dose or twice-daily split dose • Broad dosing range supports intermediate-weight dogs, decreasing the need to split tablets • Best used as part of a comprehensive behavioral modification program • Available in 5 mg, 20 mg, 40 mg or 80 mg strengths

Directions

BIOEQUIVALENT: CALMERA (clomipramine hydrochloride) Tablets are pharmaceutically equivalent to CLOMICALM® (clomipramine hydrochloride) Tablets. IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: Calmera (clomipramine hydrochloride) Tablets are for use in dogs only and are not recommended for other behavior problems, such as aggression. Studies to establish the safety and efficacy of Calmera tablets in dogs less than 6 months of age have not been conducted. Calmera tablets are contraindicated in dogs with known hypersensitivity to clomipramine or other tricyclic antidepressants. Calmera tablets are contraindicated for use in dogs with a history of seizures or concomitantly with drugs which lower the seizure threshold. Calmera tablets should not be used in male breeding dogs nor should it be given in combination, or within 14 days before or after treatment with a monoamine oxidase inhibitor.
