Description

Nobivac Feline-Bb is an intranasal feline vaccine formulated with an avirulent live culture of Bordetella bronchiseptica. It is recommended for the vaccination of healthy kittens and cats as an aid in the prevention of upper respiratory disease caused by B. bronchiseptica.

This modified live vaccine is administered intranasally and begins to provide protection as early as 72 hours post-vaccination in cats vaccinated at 8 weeks of age or older. Safe for use in kittens as young as 4 weeks, as well as in pregnant queens.

Directions

Administration Instructions:

Aseptically reconstitute the desiccated Nobivac Feline-Bb vaccine using the sterile diluent provided. Administer 0.2 mL intranasally into one nostril using a suitable applicator. Do not administer by any route other than intranasal.

  • Vaccinate healthy kittens as young as 4 weeks of age, especially before entering boarding facilities, shelters, or other high-risk environments.
  • Cats vaccinated at 8 weeks of age or older may develop protection as early as 72 hours post-vaccination.
  • Safe for use in pregnant queens.
  • Annual revaccination with a single 0.2 mL intranasal dose is recommended for continued protection.

Storage Guidelines

  • Store between 2°C and 7°C (36°F to 45°F).
  • Do not freeze.
  • Keep out of direct sunlight.

Precautions & Warnings

  • Vaccinate only healthy, non-parasitized cats.
  • Consult a licensed veterinarian before administering any vaccine.
  • Use new, sterile, and non-chemically sterilized equipment for each dose.
  • Dispose of unused contents and containers by burning or in accordance with local regulations.
