Description

Nobivac Feline 1-HCP + FeLV is a combination vaccine for cats, formulated to provide essential protection against core feline viruses and feline leukemia virus (FeLV). This comprehensive vaccine is recommended for healthy cats 9 weeks of age or older to help prevent respiratory and gastrointestinal illnesses, as well as diseases associated with FeLV infection and lymphoid tumors.

Directions

Recommended Vaccination Schedule for Nobivac Feline 1-HCP + FeLV

  • For cats 9 weeks of age or older
  • Administer a 1 mL dose via subcutaneous or intramuscular injection
  • Repeat with a second 1 mL dose 3 to 4 weeks later
  • Revaccination every 2 years with Nobivac Feline 1-HCP + FeLV is recommended
  • In intervening years, annual revaccination with Nobivac Feline 1-HCP is advised

Precautions

  • Store at 2°–7°C (36°–45°F)
  • Do not freeze
  • Do not mix with other vaccines
  • Use only new, non-chemically sterilized needles and syringes
  • Burn vaccine container and any unused contents after administration

Warnings

  • Contains gentamicin and amphotericin B as preservatives
  • Vaccinate only healthy, non-parasitized cats
  • Do not vaccinate pregnant cats
  • As with any biological product, anaphylaxis or other hypersensitivity reactions may occur. Recommended treatment: Epinephrine, corticosteroids, and/or antihistamines as indicated by severity
  • The timing of maternal antibody interference with vaccine efficacy varies by the cat's maternal antibody level and absorption of colostrum
