Description

Nobivac Canine 1-DAPPv+Cv is a combination vaccine recommended for the vaccination of healthy dogs 6 weeks of age or older. It provides protection against six highly contagious canine diseases: canine distemper virus, adenovirus type 1 (hepatitis), adenovirus type 2 (respiratory disease), canine parainfluenza virus, canine parvovirus, and canine coronavirus.

Directions

Shake the vial of Nobivac Canine 1-Cv and aseptically transfer its contents into the vial of Nobivac Canine 1-DAPPv. Mix gently until the solution is fully dissolved. Use the entire rehydrated contents immediately.

Administer one 1 mL dose via subcutaneous or intramuscular injection. Initial vaccination may begin at 6 weeks of age. Repeat the dose every 2 to 4 weeks until the dog is at least 12 weeks old. A minimum of two doses is required for effective primary immunization.

Annual revaccination with a single dose is recommended. In line with the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) guidelines on vaccination principles, vaccination schedules should be tailored based on the veterinarian-client-patient relationship.

  • Administer via subcutaneous or intramuscular injection
  • Begin at 6 weeks of age with repeat doses every 2–4 weeks until 12 weeks old
  • Minimum of two 1 mL doses required for primary immunization
  • Annual booster dose recommended

Precautions:

  • Store between 2°C and 7°C (35°F–45°F)
  • Do not freeze
  • Do not mix with other vaccines
  • Use new, non-chemically sterilized needles and syringes
  • Burn vaccine containers and unused contents after use

Warnings:

  • Contains gentamicin as a preservative
  • Vaccinate only healthy, non-parasitized dogs
  • Do not vaccinate pregnant bitches
  • Administration of biological products may cause anaphylaxis or other immune-mediated hypersensitivity reactions.
    Antidote: Epinephrine, corticosteroids, and antihistamines may be indicated depending on the severity of the reaction
  • The timing of maternal antibody decline varies by individual. Maternal antibodies can interfere with vaccine efficacy depending on antibody levels and absorption from colostrum.
