Description

Nobivac 3 Rabies is a trusted, veterinarian-recommended vaccine formulated for the vaccination of healthy dogs, cats, cattle, and sheep as an aid in the prevention of rabies—a fatal viral disease that affects the central nervous system of mammals. This vaccine is prepared using cell-culture-grown, chemically-inactivated rabies virus to ensure both safety and efficacy.

Designed to deliver long-lasting protection, Nobivac 3 Rabies provides up to 3 years of immunity in dogs and cats after primary vaccination and revaccination, while annual revaccination is recommended for cattle and sheep to maintain continuous protection.

Key Benefits of Nobivac 3 Rabies Vaccine

  • Broad-Spectrum Protection: Approved for use in dogs, cats, cattle, and sheep, making it a versatile rabies prevention solution for multiple species.
  • Extended Duration of Immunity: A single 1 mL dose in dogs and cats has been shown to meet federal guidelines for protection against rabies for up to 3 years after vaccination.1
  • Reliable Safety Profile: Produced using an established cell line that has been extensively tested for consistency, safety, and effectiveness.1
  • Proven Efficacy: Demonstrated ability to protect vaccinated animals from virulent rabies virus challenge in controlled studies.
  • Easy Administration: Flexible use with species-specific dosing—1 mL for dogs, cats, and ferrets; 2 mL for cattle and sheep.
  • Veterinary Endorsed: Manufactured by Merck Animal Health, a leader in veterinary vaccines and biologics.

Vaccination Recommendations

  • Dogs and Cats: Revaccinate every 3 years after the initial series and first-year booster.
  • Cattle and Sheep: Annual revaccination is recommended for continued protection.

By incorporating Nobivac 3 Rabies into your preventive care program, you help ensure both the health of animals and the safety of humans by reducing the risk of rabies transmission.
