She seems to really like it as she tries to lick the bowl
April 4, 2017
We tried everything for my Chihuahua/jack Russell mix. After trying 4~5 products that failed each time, Nixit really helped! when we ran out of Nixit, she started eating poo again so we think that it really works! She is ~11 lbs and we put about 1/3- to 1/2 scoop in her food each time. She seems to really like it as she tries to lick the bowl. Great solution, Thanks NIxit!

Works well

This is the only stool eating preventative that stops my dog. I used it a long time, and the habit was broken, But after stopping it for about six months, she resumed. So, now I will continue to use it daily.

A Godsend!

After reading some of the reviews, I didn't give my dogs as much as it called for. We have 3 dogs and only 1 has the nasty habit, but we gave this to all 3 dogs. It seems to be working beautifully! I wish I'd found this sooner!

Finally - Relief!
February 16, 2012
We have 4 dogs and our older lab had started this dreadful habit a couple of years ago creating horrible breathe and leaving reminents where ever he rested his head. We have tried 2 other products to eliminate this habit. It wasn't until we tried this product that we have finally no poop inside - only outside where it belongs!!! To begin with we sprinkled a little (half recommended dosage) in each of the dogs bowls twice a day. Now only do it once in the AM and still working. Neither of our dogs had any problems with it in their food even though it really doesn't smell good to us. Overall, it has worked FANTASTIC! Relief Finally!

NIXIT is it safe?
February 5, 2012
I was surprised to read on the container that the main ingredient in Nixit is Monosodium Glutamate, 4000 mg to a 10g scoop. I get a headache when I eat MSG, what will it do to a 5 lb dog? There are no weight instructions on the container to determine how much to dose. My dog may have a bad habit but I won't endanger her health trying to cure the habit!!!

Nixit Works But Adjust Amount You Give According to Dog Size
August 1, 2011
I have shih tzu and I have had a hard time getting them to stop eating poop. I have tried putting hot sauce on the poop, I have tried putting "bitter yuck" on the poop and I tried an herbal anti-coprophagic tablet for weeks with no results, all three of them still ate their own poop. Turns out they like hot sauce and bitter yuck. Finally I ordered Nixit as a last resort as I really did not want to give my dogs MSG but I was at a loss of what else to do. Well the jar of it says to give dogs 1 scoop in their food and I did that the very first day and 2 out of the 3 shih tzu vomited back up their entire meal. I thought about it and there is no weight or size guidlines, so basically 1 scoop for a Chihuahua or a St. Bernard??? I talked to my friend who told me Nixit worked for her and found out she substituted 1/2 scoop in the directions as she also has smaller dogs. I measured the scoop and it is about 1 tablespoon so I gave 1/2 tablepoon in lieu of the full scoop as directed. And I had no stomach problems with 1/2 tablespoon and it works, all 3 no longer eat poop.

So So product
July 18, 2011
We purchased this vet recommended product after several "home remedies" failed. Our 8 month old Havanese didn't respond as well as we had hoped. It worked better than some other brands, but didn't cure the nasty stool recycling problem. Wouldn't buy again. Hope he outgrows this habit.
