Description

Levetiracetam Oral Solution is an anticonvulsant medication that treats seizures in dogs and cats. It can be used by itself or with other anticonvulsant medications. Levetiracetam Oral Solution is in certain cases safer for pets to use than other anticonvulsant medications because it passes through the urine instead of being broken down by the liver or metabolized by the kidneys. This item is helping to keep our Pom alive where he has so many health issues. He takes this liquid three times a day and does well taking it but one other solution he needs is chicken flavor and he loves it. I don't know why all animal meds aren't flavored in such a way that makes administering them a treat rather than a necessity. Just a thought.
Pros
  • Not as bad as some meds to administer.
