Directions

Administer Durvet Ivermectin Paste 1.87% orally. Each syringe contains a single dose sufficient to treat a 1,250 lb horse at the recommended rate of 91 mcg ivermectin per pound (200 mcg/kg) of body weight.

  • Remove the cap from the syringe and adjust the dosage ring to the appropriate weight of the horse.
  • Insert the syringe into the horse’s mouth at the interdental space.
  • Depress the plunger and deposit the paste on the back of the tongue.
  • Immediately raise the horse’s head for a few seconds to ensure the paste is swallowed.
