Description
FIX SULFA 960 (Sulfamethoxazole/Trimethoprim) is a broad-spectrum antibiotic formulated for the treatment of bacterial infections in ornamental fish. This potent combination of sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim is effective against gram-positive and select gram-negative bacteria, including those responsible for gill infections, body ulcers, and fin rot. It is commonly used to manage bacterial conditions caused by Mycobacterium, Aeromonas, and Pseudomonas species in freshwater and saltwater aquarium fish.

Indications

Ingredients
Active Ingredients (each tablet): Sulfamethoxazole 800mg/Trimethoprim 160mg
Directions
Add one 960 mg tablet to the aquarium for every 40 gallons of water. Repeat the treatment after 24 hours. Perform a partial water change between treatments to maintain water quality. The recommended treatment duration is 5 to 10 days, depending on the severity of the infection. Discontinue use if no improvement is observed after 5 days.
