Canine Spectra 10 Dosage & Administration: Administer a 1 mL dose subcutaneously (under the skin) to healthy dogs 6 weeks of age or older. To prepare, open the syringe by twisting or tapping the cap to break the heat weld. Rehydrate the desiccated vaccine cake by injecting the provided diluent into the vial. Shake well to ensure complete mixing. Withdraw the entire contents back into the syringe. Clean the injection site thoroughly with antiseptic. Lift the loose skin behind the neck or front leg, insert the needle, and inject the full 1 mL dose. Avoid intravenous injection.
IMPORTANT: Before injecting, gently pull back on the plunger to check for blood. If blood appears, choose another injection site to avoid intravascular administration.
Vaccination Schedule:
• Begin vaccinations at approximately 6 weeks of age.
• Revaccinate every 2–3 weeks until the puppy is at least 16 weeks old.
• Dogs over 12 weeks of age should receive an initial dose followed by a booster 2–3 weeks later.
• Annual revaccination with a single dose is recommended for continued protection.
Vaccinate only healthy dogs. Animals under stress, suffering from illness, or affected by parasites or malnutrition may not develop a proper immune response. Discard all containers and unused contents by burning. Although rare, serious allergic (anaphylactoid) reactions may occur and require immediate veterinary attention.
Store vaccine between 35°F and 45°F (2°C – 7°C). Protect from light. Do not freeze.
