Directions
- Use this medication exactly as prescribed by your veterinarian or physician.
- Administer via a jet nebulizer connected to an air compressor.
- Shake the ampule gently before opening.
- Twist off the top of the single-dose ampule and empty the entire contents into the nebulizer reservoir.
- Instruct the patient (or pet handler) to inhale the mist steadily through a mouthpiece or mask until the reservoir is empty (typically 5–10 minutes).
- Do not mix with other nebulized medications unless approved by your healthcare provider.
- Use immediately after opening the ampule.
Storage Instructions:
- Store unopened ampules at 68°F to 77°F (20°C to 25°C); excursions permitted between 59°F and 86°F (15°C and 30°C).
- Protect from light. Store ampules in the original foil pouch until ready to use.
- Do not refrigerate or freeze.
- Discard any opened or unused portion—do not reuse partially used ampules.
Warnings & Cautions:
- For inhalation use only; do not swallow or inject.
- Use only with a jet nebulizer; ultrasonic nebulizers are not recommended.
