Agri-Mectin (Ivermectin) 1% Sterile Solution Injection is a highly effective antiparasitic treatment for cattle and swine. This broad-spectrum injectable solution helps control and eliminate internal and external parasites, including gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, lice, and mange mites. Designed for veterinary use, this prescription-only injectable solution is administered subcutaneously or intramuscularly and is safe for use in all ages of cattle and pigs. Its sterile formulation reduces the risk of contamination and ensures consistent results in both small and large operations.
Key Benefits
- Broad-Spectrum Parasite Control: Effectively treats roundworms, lungworms, lice, and mange mites in cattle and swine.
- Veterinarian-Trusted Ivermectin: Contains 10 mg/mL (1%) of ivermectin, widely used and proven in livestock parasite management.
- Rapid Action: Disrupts parasite nervous system function, leading to quick paralysis and elimination.
- Sterile & Safe: Sterile injection solution minimizes contamination and supports optimal livestock care.
- Improves Performance: Helps reduce parasite-related weight loss, boosting feed efficiency and productivity.
- Multiple Size Options: Available in 50 mL, 200 mL, and multi-dose vials to suit different operation sizes.
Indications
Agri-Mectin is indicated for the treatment and control of internal and external parasites in cattle and swine, including:
- Gastrointestinal roundworms
- Lungworms
- Lice
- Mange mites
- Other ivermectin-susceptible parasites
How It Works
The active ingredient, ivermectin, targets parasite nerve and muscle cells by binding to glutamate-gated chloride channels. This causes increased cell permeability, paralysis, and eventual death of the parasite, providing long-lasting protection and reducing reinfestation risk.
