It works for my dog
I recently switched my dog from Rimadyl to this generic. It appears to be just as effective from a therapeutic perspective. She's very picky and actually likes to eat this pill, which was another concern with switching. A tip if you're moving to a generic: start with a minimal quantity (I did 15 tablets) to gauge efficacy and acceptance. If it works, then do a full order. Also try this with at least at weeks supply of the original so if the dog rejects the generic, you still have time to get a refill.
ProsAs effective as Rimadyl
Taste is as acceptable
Cost versus Rimadyl
ConsOrdering from vet is easier but they don't sell this generic.
