Apoquel (oclacitinib tablet) is an FDA-Approved solution that treats acute and chronic pruritus in dogs and provides fast-acting relief from its symptoms. Though pruritus can be caused by skin disease, cancer, and other conditions- this treatment is specifically formulated to fight pruritus associated with skin allergies. It can also be taken in conjunction with other medications meant to treat your dog’s seasonal allergies as directed by your veterinarian.

Apoquel starts working within 4 hours of administering the first dose and controls itching within 24 hours. To ensure that it’s easy to administer the proper dosage to your dog, this treatment comes in three different dosages, each of which is sold individually, in packs of 100.

Key Benefits

  • Combats both acute and chronic pruritus
  • Provides relief within 4 hours of the first dosage and effectively controls itch within first 24 hours
  • Available in three different dosages, each in three different sizes
  • Improves quality of life for dogs and owners experiencing certain symptoms of skin conditions.

How It Works

  • Helps in particular with control of pruritus associated with allergic dermatitis and control of atopic dermatitis in dogs 12 months of age or older
  • Isolates symptoms to allow for an accurate diagnosis of underlying conditions

Apoquel is not for use in breeding dogs, or pregnant or lactating dogs. It is not for use in dogs less than 12 months of age or dogs with serious infections. Apoquel may increase susceptibility to infection, including demodicosis, and exacerbate neoplastic conditions.
