Description

Felisyl L-lysine Immune System Support Gel is a product designed to support the immune system of cats. L-lysine is an essential amino acid that plays a crucial role in various biological functions, including immune system function.

L-lysine is known to inhibit the replication of the feline herpesvirus, which is a common viral infection in cats that can cause respiratory and eye symptoms. By providing supplemental L-lysine, it is believed that the severity and duration of feline herpesvirus infections can be reduced.

The Felisyl L-lysine Immune System Support Gel is typically given orally to cats. It comes in a gel form, which makes it easier to administer to cats, especially if they are finicky eaters. The gel can be applied directly to the cat's paw, nose, or food, and most cats tend to accept it without any issues.

It is always recommended to consult with a veterinarian before starting any new supplements for your cat. They can provide guidance on the appropriate dosage and frequency of administration based on your cat's specific needs. They can also determine whether Felisyl L-lysine Immune System Support Gel is suitable for your cat and if there are any potential interactions with other medications or conditions to consider.

Remember that while L-lysine can be beneficial for cats with feline herpesvirus infections, it may not provide the same benefits for other immune-related conditions or general immune system support.

Key Benefits:

  1. Supports the immune system: L-lysine is an essential amino acid that plays a vital role in the proper functioning of the immune system. By providing supplemental L-lysine, the gel helps support and strengthen the cat's immune response, making them better equipped to fight off infections and diseases.
  2. Reduces the severity and duration of feline herpesvirus symptoms: Feline herpesvirus is a common viral infection in cats that can cause respiratory and eye symptoms. L-lysine has been found to inhibit the replication of the virus, leading to a reduction in the severity and duration of symptoms. The gel form of Felisyl L-lysine makes it easier to administer to cats, ensuring they receive the necessary support during herpesvirus flare-ups.
  3. Improves respiratory health: Feline herpesvirus infections often affect the respiratory system, leading to symptoms such as sneezing, nasal discharge, and congestion. By supporting the immune system and reducing the viral load, Felisyl L-lysine gel can help alleviate respiratory symptoms, making it easier for the cat to breathe comfortably.
  4. Easy administration: The gel form of Felisyl L-lysine is designed to be easy to administer to cats. It can be applied directly to the cat's paw, nose, or mixed with their food. The palatable nature of the gel makes it more likely that cats will accept it willingly, even if they are picky eaters.
  5. Suitable for long-term use: Felisyl L-lysine Immune System Support Gel can be used as a long-term supplement for cats with feline herpesvirus infections or those who may benefit from immune system support. It is generally considered safe for extended use, but it's always recommended to consult with a veterinarian to determine the appropriate dosage and duration based on the cat's individual needs.

Remember, while Felisyl L-lysine Immune System Support Gel offers benefits specifically related to feline herpesvirus infections, it may not provide the same benefits for other immune-related conditions or general immune system support.

Great product - Great price

I really love this product. While I generally use the powdered form to mix in their food, sometimes I need to give individual doses and the gel is perfect for that. I draw it up into a syringe for dosage. I only wish the tube opening were a little bigger so that I could put the syringe in more securely.

This product is excellent for helping cats through stressful times, such as holiday visitors and changes to the environment. It is great for controlling FVR (feline herpes) outbreaks and other stress triggered and viral illnesses and outbreaks, including upper respiratory viruses, ringworm and stomatitis. It is great stuff and should be part of every kitty health and wellness kit.
Pros
  • Easy and non-traumatic to administer.
Cons
  • I wish the tube opening were a little bigger so that I could put the syringe in more securely.
